PIT (Point-in-Time) is a nationwide effort, mandated by HUD, to count people experiencing homelessness (both sheltered and unsheltered) on a single night to understand homelessness's scope, track progress, inform policy, and attract resources, providing a crucial snapshot of need in communities.
“The Housing Inventory Count (HIC) and Point-in-Time (PIT) Count are scheduled for January 28-29, 2026 for "the 604". In preparation, GKCCEH and the PIT Committee have compiled the 2026 PIT Training to be completed in the Learning Management platform, Litmos.
This form requests access to Litmos and the required learning path for the count. A email will be sent out with a link to login to the platform. This training should be completed by January 21, 2026.”
